Saint Giuse Nguyễn Đình Uyển was a Vietnamese Catholic layman of Eastern Tonking, a catechist and member of the Lay Dominicans, executed at Hưng Yên on July 4, 1838, at about sixty-two years old. His death occurred within the same intense phase of the persecution under Emperor Minh Mạng that claimed many other Eastern Tonking catechists and clergy that same year.
